How to Order Custom Boomerangs: A Step-by-Step Checklist

02/26/2026

Ordering custom boomerangs is simple once you know what to bring to the conversation. The projects that move fastest and come out best are the ones where the buyer arrives with a few basics decided — and the ones that stall are usually missing a logo file or a deadline.

Here’s the short checklist we wish every first-time buyer had before requesting a quote.

1. Nail down your quantity and use case

Know roughly how many boomerangs you need and what they’re for — a trade-show booth, a festival, an event gift, a campus giveaway. Quantity drives pricing and use case drives material, so having both in hand lets us quote accurately on the first pass instead of trading emails.

2. Pick a material (or let us recommend one)

If you have a preference — birch, bamboo, full-color, ABS plastic, mini, or foam — tell us. If not, describe your audience, setting (indoor or outdoor), and budget and we’ll recommend one. Our material and decoration guides on the blog cover the trade-offs if you want to decide first.

3. Gather your artwork

A vector logo (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) is ideal. If you only have a PNG or a photo, don’t worry — our designers recreate logos production-ready at no charge. Note any brand (Pantone) colors, and flag whether you want full-color, screen print, or engraving.

4. Confirm handedness and setting

For real returning boomerangs, tell us whether your audience is mostly right- or left-handed and whether they’ll throw indoors or out — it changes which style and tune we recommend. If you’re unsure, a mixed crowd usually points to right-handed full-size plus foam for indoors and kids.

5. Know your deadline, then request the quote

Standard production runs about two to three weeks after you approve the mockup, so count back from any hard in-hands date and add a few days of buffer. Send everything through the quote form; we reply within one business day with pricing and a photo-real mockup, revise it free until you approve, and start production the same day you sign off.
